Vesterålen and Lofoten 2006

We slept very well and got up quite late. After breakfast we went to the pool and had a nice bath. Then we put off the safari room and got started at 12.30 hrs.

In Fredrika we saw a sign "Temple". We were curious and followed the sign. We had heard about this project in TV. On a hill a temple will be built. They have not started yet because there are no money. But there was a large buddha…

We continued and had a coffee break at the Lögde river. It was a nice place but unfortunately it was quite dirty. Who are those idiots, who cannot take away their garbage?!?!?

We followed road number 92 towards Bjurholm and then road number 353. We had a short break at the interesting Tallbergs-bridges.

In Nordmaling we took road number E4 again.

Soon we would see our friends again! First we went to Mary and Harry in order to pick up the furniture, we hade ordered. Then we went to Carmen and Ingvar. It was so nice! We were talking and bathing and enjoying the day.

Unfortunately I dropped my glasses into the sea. It's only three meters deep there and I tried to dive to find them but it was impossible. Well well, I should buy new ones anyway...

We had a delicious dinner.

Then Mary and Harry came over with their boat. So we had a nice tour through the archipelago and also a "fredagsgrogg" (Friday's drink - a tradition in the North of Sweden).

It was a wonderful evening and it was still 20 degrees warm!

We came back again at 22.30 hrs.

Mary and Harry went home again with their boat. And we continued the nice evening. At 1.30 hrs. it was time to get some sleep.
