Vesterålen and Lofoten 2006

We fixed some laundry and then we had breakfast. And again we took a nice walk at the beach.

Then we took the scooter and went to Andenes to make some shopping. The weather was really strange. It was sunny and warm in Bleik. But as soon as we had driven around the mountain between Bleik and Andenes, it became gray, misty and cold.

We went back "home" to Bleik again and had some coffee. Then we went to Andenes again since we wanted to participate in a whale safari, which should start at 16.00 hrs. First we got some information and then we went onboard. We went for 1,5 hours and then we were looking for whales during a couple of hours. We saw five or six sperm whales and it was really great! At 21.00 hrs. we came back to the harbour and were quite frozen. It had been very cold out there. We went back to the camping site in Bleik. As soon as we had driven around the mountain, we came back to the nice weather. The sun was shining and it was approx. 10 degrees warmer in Bleik than in Andenes.

Later we had some dinner and then it was soon time to get some sleep.
