Today was our last day in Rio. It was a little bit clowdy and it was even raining a bit, but it didn't take too long and the sun was shining again. We got up quite late, had breakfast and roamed around. And of course, we spent quite some time at the nice pool and enjoyed the fantastic view.

This day, a swimming competition took place at the copacabana with 2000 participants. The started at the beach right outside the hotel and should swim right over the bay towards the sugar loaf. It was quite nice to watch it.

Then it was time to pack all our stuff and check out. At 17.00 hrs the bus came to pick us up and bring us to the airport. So now it was just to say "adeus" to Rio and Brazil

The trip home took exactly 28 hours.

We took the night flight from Rio. Changed the plane in São Paulo and arrived in Paris at approx. 15.00 hrs the next day (Monday, November 21, 2005). Then we took the flight to Copenhagen, the train to Svågertorp, taxi to Malmö and our car back home.

It has been a fantastic trip. But it's also nice to be back home again.
