At 6.00 hrs local time (3 hours before Swedish time) we arrived in São Paulo. Wonderful! Now we have made quite something of the trip! It was a little bit cool, just around 16 degrees, but it was ok.

At 9.15 hrs it was time to get on the next plane to Curitiba. The flight took just a little bit less than on hour. When we came out of the aircraft, it felt like we would enter a sauna! It was very warm (approx. 30 degrees) and the sun was shining from the blue sky!

Around 13.00 hrs it was time for the last flight today, from Curitiba to Iguaçu. The flight took a little bit more than one hour. Now we were almost there! We took the bus to the hotel. And 15.45 hrs we finally were at the Tropical Das Cataratas Hotel. Yeah!!!

Now it was time for Caipirinha, pool, sun and bathing. A wonderful relaxation after the long trip.

We also took a walk down to the waterfalls. We saw many lizards, birds, beautiful butterflies and cute coatis. It was impressive to be so close to the waterfalls. We even went out on a little bridge and became wet of the water splash. It was like a very nice shower in the heat. We also saw a lot of beautiful rainbows in the water splash. Down from the waterfalls there was an elevator, which we took in order to come up again and then we went back to the hotel. It was a quite long way back, but it was sure worth it.

We had a very delicious dinner on the hotel’s terrace, from which we both could see and hear the waterfalls.

It had become colder in the evening, approx. 25 degrees, and it felt ok. Later on, three men from Peru played some nice music.

Finally we went to bed. We were tired after the long trip and all impressions we already had made.
